Course Overview

This course builds on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer operating systems and networks to present the fundamental skills and concepts that you will need to use on the job in any type of networking career. It also addresses the content described in the exam objectives for the CompTIA Network+ certification. If you are pursuing a CompTIA technical certification path, obtaining the CompTIA® A+® certification is an excellent first step to take before preparing for the CompTIA Network+ N10-007 examination.

 

Learning Objectives

In this course, you will describe the major networking technologies and systems of modern networks, and configure, manage, and troubleshoot modern networks.

Life before Hope Project I was just another statistic. I was 21 with a 3 year old, a new baby on the way working at Wendy's as a crew member. Realizing I couldn't make it with a Wendy's salary and my 2 children alone I looked for something better. My long time friend introduced me to the HOPE Project. Immediately at my acceptance I quit Wendy's and put my all into the HOPE Project. I graduated with my A+ Today I am a Field Service Engineer at the Department of Homeland Security.

I am a hope project graduate. Prior to hope I was out of work and thinking of reenlisting into the military. Until one day my mom found a flyer that changed my life. I was out of work for about 1 year and 1/2. Including the time spent training at hope. 6-8 weeks after graduating i landed my first I.T. position on the help desk making 40k a year. Since then now 6 years later i make over $200k a year and i closed on a brand new home. I am currently overseas on a major government contract and soon i will start my own I.T. Company.   I have several CompTIA certifications.
